I doubt anyone will have a long term profit with this robot. I myself, was very impress with this robot just like everyone else who only run this robot for a few days/weeks. By no time at all, I realised how it actually works, shortly after when this robot consumed all of the profit I accumulated in one day.
The logic behind this robot is that, it will trade only 1 hour a day. The robot takes very small TP as low as 5 so you can easily win and plus you have many wins in a row because it will open a lot of trades at the same time, you're put in the situation of that win or lose it all. But the problem lies within its risk:reward setting. When you win, it gives you 5 pips each but when you lost, it drags you down 29 pips each!!! And that's 20% of your available balance... Of cause, this is according to default setting.
So, why is it setting SL so high in the first place? I had set SL to 7 and 5 in an attempt to fix this issue. Unfortunately, my account suffers from bad trades even more than before. The only possible explanation is that, this robot randomly opens trade, which explains why it needs so high SL to let the price maneuvers in its flavour direction. It may sound good at first, the robot easily win from TP as low as 5 pips and there are huge SL to support the price if it goes into the wrong direction. The result is that, this robot would mostly win any trade. But there will be a time when that huge SL is not enough, and your account will suffer in the long run. And this is what happened with my account (real and verified) with this EA still running. You can see it in action at Myfxbook here :

I tried to back test this robot in MT4 with different settings. Of cause, every tick model with quality above 90%. My back test is in this year period, optimized for profit factor, included risk per cycle from 5 to 20, SL from 5 to 30, and trade on Friday true/false. Unfortunately, none of simulated settings (48 in total) would pass the profit factor in the test. All simulated settings have loss as result, let alone profit.
There's no wonder why positive review about this robot can only be found at http://forexrobotnation.com/ It's a good place to find new EA, but you can't believe their "recommended" products on the website. I checked their domain name and I found that ForexRobotNation, Forex Fury (EA), Forex Steam (EA), and Binary 5 (BO Signal), are from the same person. According to DNS record, they are in the same server from forexrobotreviewer.com . If there's negative review about any of their recommended product, it will be waiting for moderation forever. |
